Ingredients Quantity
Chicken 1 k.g, cut into pieces
Rice: 1 tsp
Coconut: 1 (grated)
Onions: 1 medium sized
Ghee or oi:l 3 tblsp
Salt to taste
Ingredients for Ground Masala (spices) Quantity
Red long chillies (kashmiri) :9
Turmeric powder :½ tsp
Tamarind the size of a marble
Garlic :3 flakes
Coriander :2 tblsp
Cumin seeds: ½ tblsp
Cloves: 4
Cinnamon: 1 piece
Mustard seeds: ¼ tsp
Pepper corns: 9
Onion: 1
Water 2 cups
Method of Preparation
· Cut chicken into small peices, clean & keep it.
· Fry rice(boiled rice) in a pan till it gets a bit thicker & then powder & keep it.
· Cut 1onion longish & fry it in ghee/oil
· Mix grated coconut into it & fry it for few minutes till both of these items are mixed & keep it aside.
· Fry 1onion in little ghee or oil & add red chillies, coriander, cummin seeds, pepper corns, stir and fry all these ( ground masala ingredients) for sometime & then grind.
· Put this ground masala with little masala water in a vessel & keep it for boiling till the masala becomes thick
· Then add chicken till it becomes tender.
· Then add salt, grated coconut mixed with onion & powdered rice & stir & keep it for 5 minutes.
· Your chicken sukka is ready.
